Incident Report
Dispatch received a call reporting a wrong-way driver on US 377 between Stephenville and Dublin. The vehicle was reportedly traveling northbound in the southbound lane toward Stephenville. An Erath County deputy was quickly able to get behind the suspect vehicle and conduct a traffic stop near AgTexas, just outside Stephenville. The deputy reported that the driver nearly caused an accident directly in front of him before the stop was made. The male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The driver did have a prior arrest for DWI. A wrecker was called for the suspect's vehicle.
