Incident Report

While I was away from the scanner this afternoon, there was a traffic accident. Here is the call that was pulled from the recordings. Erath County (around 2:30 p.m.) A head-on collision was reported in the 29000 block of US 377 North near Bluff Dale, just past the railroad tracks. Erath and Bluff Dale Fire Departments were paged to the scene. The first unit on arrival reported two vehicles with major damage; one was off the roadway. Two patients were involved. Medic 2 transported one patient to Stephenville ER, and Medic 1 transported the other patient to Stephenville ER. Air medical was placed on standby but was later canceled. Wreckers were called.
