- Update 3:54 PM:From the Texas A&M Forest Service website at 3:35 p.m. Scanner traffic reports Comanche, Coleman and McCulloch County fire departments are being requested for mutual aid.
- Update 5:04 PM:Brown County, Texas Sheriff's Office 🔥 FIRE UPDATE 🔥 County Roads 329 and 325 are currently CLOSED to the public and are for emergency personnel ONLY. The forward progress of the fire has slowed, and crews are continuing to work the situation. Numerous law enforcement agencies and fire departments are on scene. At this time, we are monitoring US 67/377 and waiting to see if a closure will be necessary. At this time, it does not appear that 67/377 will need to be shut down but we will update the public if it is necessary. Please stay out of the area and avoid traveling near the fire. Keeping roads clear allows emergency personnel and equipment to safely get in and out and helps prevent further issues. Please continue to monitor for updates and use caution in the area.
