Incident Report
At 5:03 p.m., responders were dispatched to a one-vehicle crash on SH 220 near CR 452. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway after becoming airborne but did not roll and came to rest about three yards from the highway with its airbags deployed. Two passengers, including a 16-year-old, were reported in the vehicle. By 5:17 p.m., a unit on scene confirmed that everyone was able to get out, and Hico Unit’s arrival allowed Erath County responders to be canceled. At 5:31 p.m., DPS requested a wrecker. No injuries had been reported at that time.

- Update 5:09 PM:Additional information states that the vehicle did become airborne but did not roll. The vehicle is reported to be about three yards from the highway. Responders are still en route.
- Update 5:20 PM:The unit on the scene reports one vehicle off the roadway and that everyone is out. Hico unit on the scene has canceled Erath County.
- Update 5:31 PM:DPS on the scene has asked for a wrecker to respond. Have not heard of any injuries at this time.
