Incident Report
At 3:07 am this morning, the Erath, Selden, and Hico Fire Departments, along with Hico EMS, were paged to the scene of a major three-vehicle traffic accident in the 28,000 block of US 67 North near Three-Way. The roadway was reported to be completely blocked. No entrapment was initially reported. The initial report indicated multiple injuries, including one male who was unconscious. CPR was being performed on one of the patients. Air Evac was initially requested to launch, but the flight was canceled. Air Evac was later requested to relaunch to the scene, and a landing zone was established in the roadway. EMS Med 2 did transport one patient to the Stephenville ER. As of this post at 6:00 AM, traffic in the area remains slowed, with fire units still on the scene providing traffic control. The deputy has cleared the scene, but DPS remains on location conducting the investigation.
