  • Update 4:09 PM:The unit on the scene reports about 3 acres on fire with multiple structures nearby. There will be an all-tone on this fire, which means all agencies will be called.
  • Update 4:12 PM:This is reported to be two separate fires. Units are in structure protection mode as of now.
  • Update 4:15 PM:There is reported to be livestock nearby. One fire is with ten yards of a structure.

  • Update 4:16 PM:Firefighters are going home to home to make sure no one is inside
  • Update 4:22 PM:The unit on the scene has asked to close the highway due to onlookers being in the way.
  • Update 4:27 PM:Stephenville Fire is on the scene for structure protection. Thee COOP has been asked to respond.
  • Update 4:33 PM:A caller has advised dispatch that she was trying to leave the scene, but fire was blocking the way. A brush truck has been sent her way.
  • Update 4:34 PM:The female was able to get out.
  • Update 4:35 PM:EMS on the scene has been asked to check out an injured firefighter.
  • Update 4:58 PM:All units have switched to VFIRE 21 frequency, which is a local broadcast fire channel and difficult to hear on scanners. We are in wait mode for an update on this fire. We are listening.
  • Update 5:11 PM:Stephenville Fire has been released from the scene and they are returning to the station.
  • Update 5:16 PM:Harbin V Fire Department has been released from the scene.
  • Update 5:36 PM:Sounds like this fire is contained. Prayers for the firefighters.
